All drivers hold the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and Safe Urban Driving qualifications. Our crane operators are ALLMI-certified, guaranteeing safe and professional handling on every job.
We maintain full employer and public liability insurance of up to £10 million, and all goods in transit are covered for up to £100,000, offering complete peace of mind.

Our Team
At G.J. Ellis Haulage, our strength lies in the people who keep the wheels turning every day. Led by our director, Gary Ellis, the company runs on dedication, hard work, and decades of combined experience across the haulage industry.
Although our drivers prefer to remain behind the scenes, we’re proud to say we have four highly skilled, fully qualified drivers operating across the Cotswolds and beyond. Their commitment to safety, efficiency, and reliability means every journey is completed to the highest standard. Each member of our driving team brings valuable expertise and professionalism, representing G.J. Ellis Haulage with pride on every route.
Supporting our operations is our experienced Transport Manager, who ensures every delivery runs smoothly, from route planning and compliance to fleet coordination. Alongside them, our Administrative Assistant provides essential day to day organisation, customer communication, and logistical support.
Together, this tight knit team keeps our fleet moving. With five modern, well-maintained lorries, including Volvo, Mercedes, DAF, and Renault models, some equipped with double trailers and crane capabilities, we’re equipped for a wide range of haulage needs.
